Modern Family – Horror Movie Trailer
Here’s a little something to balance out all that holiday cheer. If you watch ABC’s hilarious Modern Family, you’ll know that Alex Dunphy is just a check box or two away from being an evil genius. So I decided to recut Modern Family as a horror movie.
In this extended trailer, all hell breaks loose at the Dunphy household over the Christmas holidays.
Funny? Horrifying? Both? Let me know what you think.
That was really good! And funny. I think it would have more impact if it was the length of a normal trailer, certainly under 2 1/2 minutes.
Yes, it’s a good point. It was a very conscious decision to make it longer. I figured that most Modern Family fans would appreciate the content over the form. But it was a gamble. So far it seems to be paying off!
The best part is that someone tweeted a video link to Ariel Winter, the actress who plays Alex, and she retweeted it to her thousands of followers, complete with an evil laugh. 🙂 I knew she would have a great sense of humor about it.
